Behemoth is a student graduation project by Fat Space Otter Studios : Laura Menigoz (me), Madeleine Hérold (character design), Louis-Emmanuël Monlaü (concept artist) and Mickaël Floury (tech artist/environments).

You can find the official website here.

Here is the real-time cinematic trailer :

I worked on the spaceship interior and the World Machine terrain. I was in charge of props modelisation and texturing, PBR materials, lighting, integration.

The spaceship interior scene is made with a compiled version of Unreal Engine 4.15 with VXGI/HBAO+ (thanks to Anthony Lemetayer!) :

You can see the difference without VXGI here :

I shared the full Behemoth environments breakdown I worked on here.

Go check it!

I also had the chance to be interviewed by Kirill Tokarev at 80 Level to share the process we used on Behemoth to produce the environments. You can read it here.

You can also see the full presentation we made for graduation (voice in french but english subtitles integrated) :

And the cute sidekick I made for the project 😊💕
